On 21 June 2020, the Qatar General Tax Authority (GTA) further extended the tax returns filing deadline for FY 2019 to 30 August 2020 in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. The deadline was previously extended from 30 April 2020 to 30 June 2020.
Any late payment would be subject to 5% interest for the period beginning 1 September 2020.
