Kyrgyzstan and Vietnam concluded negotiations on a draft agreement aimed at preventing double taxation and strengthening tax cooperation.

Kyrgyzstan and Vietnam successfully completed negotiations on a draft agreement on the elimination of double taxation, in Hanoi from 21 to 23 April 2026.

The Economy Ministry of Kyrgyzstan stated that the agreement will enable entrepreneurs to avoid double tax payments on the same income, protect them from discrimination in foreign markets, and establish a transparent system for data exchange between the tax authorities of the two countries.

It added that the implementation of the agreement is aimed at removing barriers to business activity and strengthening economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Vietnam.

The first round of negotiations on the draft agreement took place in Bishkek in 2023.
