On 12 July 2018, France ratified the bill by way of Law No. 2018-604, as published in Official Journal No. 0160 of 13 July 2018. On 5 July 2018, the National Assembly passed the bill for the ratification of the multilateral convention to implement tax treaty related measures to prevent base erosion and profit shifting (MLI), which was adopted by the Senate on 19 April 2018.
