According to reports, the government of Switzerland and of the governments of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Costa Rica, and Panama signed free trade agreements earlier in 2013 and it has been published on September 27 of 2013.

The Switzerland-Bosnia-Herzegovina free trade agreement are related to industrial goods, protection of intellectual property rights, commerce and sustainable development, trade facilitation and competition. It will be suitable for decreased import duties after a transitional period of between two and four years. Other hands Switzerland and the two Central American countries apply FTA to industrial products, services, protection of intellectual property rights and technical cooperation. Panama and Costa Rica will be exempt from import duties either immediately or after five to ten years, based on the classification of the goods.
