SARS has scheduled digital platform maintenance, during which users may experience intermittent disruption on eFiling, Tax and Customs services.

The South African Revenue Service (SARS) has announced scheduled maintenance and upgrades to its digital platforms on 24 and 26 April 2026 as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen its technology infrastructure.

SARS said the upgrades are aimed at supporting its Vision of a smart, modern SARS with unquestionable integrity that is trusted and admired, and ensuring its digital platforms and technology infrastructure remain available, robust and secure.

The maintenance is scheduled for Friday, 24 April 2026 from 18h00 to 22h00, and Sunday, 26 April 2026, from 10h00 to 20h00.

During these periods, taxpayers and traders may experience intermittent service interruptions on the eFiling, Tax and Customs Digital Platforms.
