Qatar’s tax authority announced that it is extending the deadline for Qatar-based companies to submit their country-by-country (CbC) reports for the fiscal year 2022 and CbC notifications for the fiscal year 2023. The new deadline is 31 January 2024. This extension pertains to multinational enterprises (MNEs) filing CbC reports in Qatar. For non-compliance, penalties related to CbC reports can amount to as much as QAR 500,000 under Qatari laws.
