On 26 November 2019, Oman signed the Multilateral Convention to Implement Tax Treaty Related Measures to Prevent Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (MLI).
Oman also signed the Multilateral Convention on Mutual Administrative Assistance in Tax Matters (as amended) at the 10th anniversary meeting of the Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes together with four other jurisdictions, Benin, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cabo Verde and Mongolia.
