Recently, Oman has introduced a tax incentive for every new investor looking to build a tourism project in Musandam.
According to the new regulation, investors are exempted from customs duties for building materials, tools and equipment necessary for the construction of tourism projects. In the first 10 years of the project, investors receive exemption from tourism and local tax and 15% corporation tax. The tax incentives will come into force on 1 July 2019.
