On 24 November 2015 the OECD released the statistics on the Mutual Agreement Procedure (MAP) for the 2014 reporting period. For OECD countries there were 2,266 new MAP cases in 2014. The inventory of MAP cases at the end of the reporting period was 5,423 which was an 18.77% increase over the previous year. It should however be noted that MAP cases between two OECD countries are double counted in these statistics.

For the countries which provided relevant data the average period of time taken to complete a MAP case with other OECD member countries was 23.79 months for the 2014 reporting period.
