The Mexican Tax Administration Service (SAT) has informed taxpayers who derived income from salaries in 2013 that they will receive their tax refund within the following 5 days after submitting the tax return. The deadline for submitting the annual tax return for individuals is 30 April 2014 and a free application for these purposes is available on the website of the SAT. This free application may be accessed by any taxpayer and the income tax due or the credit balance is calculated automatically based on the details submitted by the taxpayer.
