AADE has extended the deadline for filing personal and corporate income tax returns for the 2025 tax year following requests from professional organisations.

Greece’s Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) has extended the deadline for submitting income tax returns for the 2025 tax year from 15 July 2026 to 24 July 2026.

The extension applies to both personal income tax returns filed by natural persons and income tax returns submitted by legal persons and legal entities.

According to AADE, the extension was granted to facilitate taxpayers and support the smooth completion of the filing process. The authority said the decision followed requests from the Economic Chamber of Greece, the Panhellenic Federation of Tax Practitioners (POFEE), and other professional organisations.

AADE Governor George Pitsilis approved the extension, setting the new filing deadline at 23:59:59 on Friday, 24 July 2026.

The authority also reported that nearly 6.2 million initial individual income tax returns and 300,000 corporate income tax returns had already been submitted, indicating that the remaining period should be sufficient for taxpayers to complete their filings.

The decision was announced on 10 July 2026.
