On 12 November 2020, the Ministry of Trade and Industry published executive Orders, BEK no. 1604 and BEK no. 1606, which extended the fixed costs compensation scheme to support the companies affected during coronavirus pandemic. The two Executive Orders entered into force on 15 November 2020.

In accordance with the executive Order BEK no. 1604, compensation is allowed as a contribution to cover fixed costs for companies registered in the Central Business Register (CVR), if the companies are affected by COVID-19-related restrictions and have an expected revenue decline of at least 35%. This applies from 9 July 2020 to 31 October 2020 for companies impacted by border closures and travel limitations.

On the other hand, under executive Order BEK no. 1606, compensation is granted as a contribution to cover fixed costs for companies registered in the CVR, if the companies have an expected decrease in turnover of at least 35%. The compensation scheme applies from and including 19 August 2020 to and including 31 October 2020.
