On 16 October 2020, the deputies approved the proposal of the Ministry of Finance to postpone all four phases of the electronic registration of sales until 1 January 2023. The amendment to the Act on the Registration of Sales is now heading to the Senate. The Ministry of Finance took this step on the basis of a careful assessment of the most current health situation, the outlook for economic development and after today’s consultation with all business unions, associations and chambers. Entrepreneurs who wish to voluntarily register their revenues electronically can continue to do so.
