The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) has created new business tax reminder mobile app by which small and medium-sized businesses get alert about their tax deadlines. It costs no charge for Apple iOS, Google Android, and Blackberry mobile platforms for the time being. The CRA has implemented a number of service and actions to remove red tape for businesses such as, from April, companies have been able to submit amended T2 income tax returns using commercial tax preparation software, and taxpayer representatives have been able to send an approval request (Form RC59) electronically to the CRA in favor of the businesses they represent.
