The Canadian Government has arranged the final text of its Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with South Korea and upon its entry into force; South Korea will immediately exclude 81.9 % tariff lines duties. Once whole implementation, South Korea will have excluded 98.2% tariff lines duties. Average tariffs are three times higher in South Korea (13.3%) than in Canada (4.3%). Total bilateral business trade reached probably CAD10.8bn in 2013.
