In Azerbaijan, the Decree No. 2 of Cabinet of Ministers of 10 January 2017 was published in the Official Gazette (Khalgh Ghezety ) No. 28392(7) on 12 January 2017. According to the Decree, there will be new customs duty rates on the export of certain copper products.
The Decree will be effective from 30 days after its publication and will be applicable for the next 5 years.
According to the Decree the customs duty will be as follows:

unwrought refined copper wire bars | 10% of the customs value, but no less than USD 300 per 1,000 kg (currently, USD 15 per 1,000 kg) |
unwrought refined copper billets | 10% of the customs value, but no less than USD 300 per 1,000 kg (currently, USD 15 per 1,000 kg) |
unwrought refined copper other than cathodes or sections of cathodes, wire bars and billets | 10% of the customs value, but no less than USD 300 per 1,000 kg (currently, USD 15 per 1,000 kg) |
master alloys of copper | 10% of the customs value, but no less than USD 300 per 1,000 kg (currently, USD 15 per 1,000 kg) |
refined copper bars, rods and profiles | 10% of the customs value, but no less than USD 300 per 1,000 kg (currently, USD 15 per 1,000 kg) |
bars, rods and profiles of copper alloys other than brass | 10% of the customs value, but no less than USD 300 per 1,000 kg (currently, USD 15 per 1,000 kg) |
