ZATCA urges large VAT-registered businesses to file their October tax returns by the end of the month.
Saudi Arabia’s Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has urged VAT-registered businesses with goods and services revenues over SAR 40 million to file their October 2025 tax returns by 30 November 2025.
This announcement was made on 20 November 2025.
Taxpayers can submit their returns immediately via ZATCA’s website (zatca.gov.sa) or through its mobile app. Failure to comply within the deadline will incur fines, ranging from a minimum of 5% to a maximum of 25% of the tax due.
ZATCA also reminded businesses in Saudi Arabia that assistance is available through its 24/7 call center at 19993, the “Ask Zakat, Tax and Customs” account on X (@Zatca_Care), email (info@zatca.gov.sa), or instant chat on its website.
VAT in Saudi Arabia is an indirect tax applied to most goods and services, with certain exceptions, aimed at supporting the Kingdom’s public finances.
