Argentina and Vietnam have initiated negotiations for an income tax treaty, according to various reports.

The aim of establishing a double tax treaty is to eliminate double taxation and avoid tax evasion between the two countries. Both nations seek to align this tax treaty with modern international standards, thereby establishing a solid legal framework to encourage greater foreign direct investment in both countries.

This treaty would be the first tax agreement between Argentina and Vietnam. It must be finalised, signed, and ratified before it can come into effect.
