On 2 June 2022, the National Bank of Ukraine decided to increase its key policy rate from 10% to 25% per annum with effect from 3 June 2022. The interest rate has a tax effect on the late tax payment interest and penalties which is equal to 120% of the National Bank rate and which increase the penalty interest rate from 12% to 30% per annum.
