The UK Chancellor of the Exchequer announced on 12 September 2017 that the government will publish its Autumn Budget on Wednesday 22 November 2017, outlining government plans based on forecasts by the Office of Budget Responsibility (OBR).
There will in future only be an Autumn Budget instead of the Spring Budget. From 2018 there will be a Spring Statement based on the forecast from the OBR but there will not be a major fiscal event at that time.
