The Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) has extended the verification deadline of Tax Identification Numbers (TIN) information for Dar es Salaam taxpayers to 31st January 2017. The TRA has announced a mobile center and all TIN holders are needed to confirm their information at the designated centers related to them before the new deadline. Failure to verify TIN information will lead to the revocation of taxpayer’s TIN certificate as well as removal from the system.
