Switzerland and EU have signed an agreement on 14 October 2014 in order to eliminate disputed corporation tax regimes. According to the agreements the Swiss Federal Council will eliminate five corporate tax regimes and these areas- the cantonal administrative company status, the cantonal mixed company status, the cantonal holding company status, Circular Number 8 of the Federal Tax Administration on principal structures, and the current practice of the Federal Tax Administration is regarded finance branches.
