The South African Cabinet approved on 23 March 2022, the submission to Parliament for the ratification of the multilateral convention to implement tax treaty related measures to prevent base erosion and profit shifting (MLI).
After the ratification South Africa must deposit its ratification instrument to bring the MLI into force for its concluded DTAs.
