Poland rolls out the second phase of its mandatory e-invoicing system, requiring most businesses to issue digital invoices from 1 April 2026, while smaller enterprises gain a grace period until 2027. The Ministry of Finance offers free tools to support the transition.

Poland’s Ministry of Finance has announced the second phase of its National e-Invoicing System (KSeF) on 26 March 2026.

From 1 April 2026 onwards, companies with 2024 sales below PLN 200 million must use KSeF for issuing invoices. However, smaller businesses with monthly invoice sales under PLN 10,000 gross receive an extended deadline until 1 January 2027. All businesses have already been required to receive invoices through the system since 1 February 2026.

The centralised system offers practical advantages: companies can access all invoices from a single location, eliminating paper trails and manual archiving. This streamlines daily operations while reducing human error and enhancing transaction security.

The Ministry provides two complementary applications. The KSeF 2.0 Taxpayer Application enables full invoice management, including creation, receipt, search capabilities, and downloads in both XML and PDF formats. For on-the-go access, the KSeF 2.0 Mobile Application lets businesses manage invoices, maintain customer databases, and organise bank account information from anywhere.

Earlier, Poland’s Ministry of Finance announced that it is preparing to implement its National e-Invoicing System (KSeF), with authorities announcing a phased rollout during a 16 January 2026 press conference.
