The Philippines has ratified its income tax treaty with Cambodia, aimed at eliminating double taxation and preventing tax evasion, following Senate approval through Resolution No. 628.
The Philippines ratified its income tax treaty with Cambodia, which was signed on 11 February 2025.
The Philippine Senate approved the treaty through Resolution No. 628, following the President’s authorisation of its ratification on 5 June 2025. The agreement seeks to eliminate double taxation and prevent tax evasion.
Earlier, Cambodia’s upper house of Parliament (Senate) approved the income tax treaty with the Philippines on 5 December 2025.
