Federal Register ACE will be the sole of authorized Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) system:
This document declares that the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) will be the sole electronic data interchange (EDI) system authorized by the Commissioner of CBP for processing electronic entries and entry summaries associated with the entry types specified in this notice, for merchandise that is subject to the import requirements of the FDA. This also states that the Automated Commercial System (ACS) will no longer be a CBP-authorized EDI system for purposes of processing these electronic filings.

USDA increases raw sugar tariff-rate quota for fiscal year 2016:
The Office of the Secretary of the Department of Agriculture has provided a notice of an increase in raw cane sugar tariff-rate quota (TRQ) for the fiscal year (FY) 2016. The notice effects from May 18, 2016. USDA will closely monitor stocks, consumption, imports and all sugar market and program variables on an ongoing basis, and may make further program adjustments during FY 2016 if needed.

A final rule has been issued by the DoD that amends the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) to update the threshold for duty-free entry on foreign supplies.

ITC Investigation regarding ferrovanadium from Korea:
The United States International Trade Commission (USITC) has determined that there is a reasonable indication that a U.S. industry is materially injured by reason of imports of ferrovanadium from Korea that are allegedly sold in the United States at less than fair value. The report will be available after June 9, 2016.
