Federal Register Subsidy programs for softwood lumber and softwood lumber products:
The Department of Commerce seeks public comment on any subsidies, including stumpage subsidies, provided by certain countries exporting softwood lumber or softwood lumber products to the United States during the period July 1, 2017, through December 31, 2017.  Comments must be submitted within 30 days after publication of this notice. CBP Submitting imports of products excluded from duties on imports of steel or aluminum:
On March 19, 2018, the Department of Commerce has published the process in the Federal Register for parties to submit requests for exclusions from Presidential Proclamations 9704 and 9705 on adjusting imports of steel and aluminum into the United States under section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act of 1962. Importers and filers importing products granted an exclusion should submit the product exclusion number based on the last six digits of the product exclusion docket number. See Details

On March 19, 2018, the Department of Commerce (DOC) has published the methods in the Federal Register for parties to submit requests for exclusions from Presidential Proclamations 9704 and 9705 on modifying imports of steel and aluminum into the United States under section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act of 1962.  See 83 FR 12106. The functionality described below for the importer additional declaration field will be available in the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) as of June 1, 2018. See Details

FAS Action against Canadian trade measures:
The Trump Administration has requested that the World Trade Organization (WTO) establish a dispute settlement panel to examine unfair regulations governing the sale of wine in grocery stores in the Canadian province of British Columbia (BC). The Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) is challenging BC regulations that discriminate against U.S. and other imported wine by allowing only BC wine to be sold on regular grocery store shelves.
