Federal Register Correction in advance notification of sunset review:
This notice serves to correct the July 2018 advance sunset review notice about initiation of lemon juice from Argentina. There will be no sunset reviews initiated in July 2018, because lemon juice from Argentina was the only case for which a sunset review was scheduled. The applicable date is June 1, 2018. See Details
Revisions and clarifications to user fees for export and investment services:
The International Trade Administration (ITA) has recently implemented new user fees for its export and investment promotion services/events, which concluded that ITA was not fully covering its costs for providing services under the prior fee structure. This user fee schedule will be effective from July 1, 2018. See Details
ITC Report on extension of trade authorities procedures:
The U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) has submitted a statutorily required report to Congress regarding the President’s request to Congress for an extension of his trade authorities process. The President submitted a request to Congress on March 20, 2018, for this trade promotion authority. The USITC found that no trade agreements were implemented under the Bipartisan Trade Act between the date of its enactment and March 20, 2018. See Details
Annual report on U.S. textile and apparel imports from China:
The U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) has released its annual compilation of reports regarding textile and apparel imports from China. The report entitled, ” Textile and Apparel Imports from China: Statistical Reports, Annual Compilation 2017″, was requested by the U.S. House of Representatives. The data in the report are shown on an annual and quarterly basis, by category and by Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) 10-digit subheadings. See Details
