Importing Two Hybrids of Unshu Orange from the Republic of Korea:
This proposed rule is given by APHIS and it is used to amend the regulations regarding the importation of citrus fruit to allow the importation of commercial consignments of two Unshu orange hybrids from the Republic of Korea into the continental United States. The proposed changes would eliminate the prohibition on the importation of Unshu orange hybrids that can safely enter the United States, given that certain conditions are met, and would codify an existing requirement.

Inviting Applications for Inclusion on the Chapter 14 of NAFTA:
Chapter 14 of the North American Free Trade Agreement (“NAFTA”) provides for the establishment of a roster of individuals who would be willing and able to serve as panelists in dispute settlement proceedings arising under Chapter 14 (Financial Services) of the NAFTA. Individuals are appointed for three years. Applications should be received no later than August 25, 2014.

EPA Action against unregistered cleaning and surface disinfectant products:
The company that sells wholesale cleaners and a surface disinfectant that are used to clean instruments, equipment and surfaces in dental offices and medical facilities, sold unregistered pesticides and imported pesticides into the U.S. without proper notification. EPA takes an action against this violation. The company will have to pay a $375,000 penalty and come into compliance with federal pesticide law.
