Federal Register Subsidy programs on cheese subject to an in-quota rate of duty:
This notice provides Commerce’s quarterly update of subsidies on articles of cheese that were imported during the periods October 1, 2017, through December 31, 2017. Commerce encourages any person having information on foreign government subsidy programs which benefit articles of cheese subject to an in-quota rate of duty. This applies from April 25, 2018. Notice of submission procedures of petitions from the public:
This review will include separate hearings on product petitions and country eligibility reviews, which will be announced in the Federal Register at a later date. USTR will not consider petitions submitted after the April 16, 2018 deadline. See Details
FAS Finalize access for U.S. pork exports to Argentina:
U.S. Secretary of Agriculture and U.S. Trade Representative today announced the government of Argentina has finalized technical requirements that will allow U.S. pork to be imported into Argentina for the first time since 1992. See Details
FSIS Notification of export certificates to the People’s Republic of China:
This notice gives instructions to Consumer Safety Inspectors (CSIs) and Public Health Veterinarians (PHVs) for submitting beef and pork meat export certificates as required in the FSIS Export Library requirements for the People’s Republic of China. Effective from April 19, 2018, FSIS will use one system to pre-notify all beef and pork export certificates to China. Furthermore, from April 16, 2018, China requires that the port of entry in China is to be typed in the “Remarks” of FSIS Form 9060-5 for all species of meat products exported. See Details
Completion of the export certificate questionnaire:
This notice instructs FSIS Inspectors-in-charge (IICs) at all official FSIS establishments and establishments under voluntary inspection to complete a profile questionnaire in the Public Health Information System (PHIS) to record the estimated number of unused export certificates/forms maintained under FSIS control at each assigned establishment as of June 29, 2018. Effective June 29, 2018, the new FSIS Forms 9060-5 and 9060-5S will be dated June 29, 2018. See Details
