On 8 July 2020, the tax authority reportedly announced additional relief measures in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. The announcement contains a suspension of the additional tax due on late payments for the 2019 financial year until 30 September 2020, in addition to the suspension of the penalty for late return filing. In general, a provisional return with payment is due 3 months following the close of the financial year and a final return is due within 6 months.

It is also provided that taxpayers may pay their tax due for the 2019 financial year in installments basis and may reschedule installment plans previously agreed to in relation to prior tax years, without any charge.
