On 30 September 2021, Namibia has signed the Multilateral Convention to Implement Tax Treaty Related Measures to Prevent Base Erosion and Profit Shifting, becoming the 96th jurisdiction to join the Convention. The provisional list of reservations and notifications to the MLI (i.e. its MLI position) regarding Namibia identifies 11 tax treaties that it wishes to be covered by the convention.
