Deputy Prime Minister Borg and Minister Chiappori signed the update to the Bilateral Agreement on the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion.
The protocol aligns the treaty with current international tax standards, strengthens cooperation, and clarifies procedures for taxpayers and tax authorities.
The protocol will take effect upon the exchange of ratification instruments.
