The Luxembourg Council of Ministers approved the legislative changes required to implement the mandatory automatic exchange of information system on 4 October 2013 required by article 8 of the Mutual Assistance Directive on administrative cooperation in the field of taxation (2011/16).
It is expected that a proposal will soon be submitted to the Luxembourg parliament.
