On 9 April 2019, Luxembourg deposited its instrument of ratification for the multilateral convention to implement tax treaty related measures to prevent base erosion and profit shifting (MLI). The MLI will enter into force for Luxembourg on the first day of the month following the expiration of a period of three months beginning on the date of the deposit by Luxembourg of its instrument of approval, i.e., 1 August 2019.
