Latvia delays mandatory B2B e-invoicing to 1 January 2027.

Latvia’s Ministry of Smart Administration and Regional Development has proposed postponing the mandatory implementation of B2B e-invoicing for all registered businesses to 1 January 2027.

This follows Latvia’s enactment of Amendments To The Accounting Law on 31 October 2024, which requires businesses to use mandatory electronic invoicing (e-invoicing) for all B2B transactions from 1 January 2026.
