Italy and Kyrgyzstan signed an investment protection agreement (IPA) on 30 May 2025.
The IPA between Italy and Kyrgyzstan aims to promote and protect investments in both countries.
Senior officials, including Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation in trade, investment, energy, transport, water resources, and digital transformation.
