On 13 June 2024, the Greek tax agency announced the new deadline for filing corporate income tax (CIT) returns, this announcement extends the deadline for submitting the corporate tax return (CIT) of 2023 to 26 July 2024. The usual deadline for 2023 is 28 June, 2024.
It was also announced that, due to the extension, individuals involved in legal entities and legal entities maintaining simplified accounting records may submit their income tax returns until 16 August, 2024.
Legal entities must pay their taxes in eight equal monthly instalments, with the first instalment due by 31 July, 2024.
For individuals involved in legal entities and those entities maintaining simplified accounting records, taxes must be paid in six equal monthly instalments, with the first instalment due by 30 September, 2024.
