On 19 June 2023, the Estonian Parliament approved Income Tax Act and Defense Service Act Amendment Act 148 SE which increases both the personal income tax and corporate income tax rates by 2 percentage points to reach 22% from 20%. Also, the income tax rate for credit institutions will be raised to 18%, up from the previous rate of 14%. The increased rate will be effective from 1 January 2025.
