On 5 July 2019, the Ecuadorian Internal Revenue Service (Servicio de Rentas Internas-SRI) issued Executive Decree No. 806 of 25 June 2019 in its official website. The decree introduces new schedule for advance income tax payments.
The payment of advance income increases to five installments (July, August, September, October and November) from two installments (July and September) for the corporation, especially micro and small taxpayers. The change does not affect the date on which payments should be made. This deadline is between 10th and the 28th of the respective month according to the ninth digit of taxpayer’s registry number (RUC) or ID as applicable
SRI will enable the form for the advance payment before the first expiration on its official website.
