The Czech Republic and Kenya held their third round of income tax treaty negotiations from 20 to 23 January 2025.
Any resulting income tax treaty will prevent double taxation and pertain to taxes on income and prevent tax evasion between the governments of the two countries. If an agreement is reached, it will be the first between the two nations and must be finalised, signed, and ratified before it can take effect.
The first and second round of negotiations took place in April and September of 2023.
