The Czech Republic approved signing a tax treaty with Argentina on 11 June 2025.
The Czech Republic government has approved signing an income and capital tax treaty with Argentina on 11 June 2025.
This follows after officials from both countries met from 11 to 14 March 2025 to negotiate their first-ever income tax treaty. The negotiations concluded on 14 March 2025.
This agreement aims to prevent double taxation on income and capital between the two countries while addressing tax avoidance and evasion issues.
Any resulting tax treaty will be the first between the two countries and must be signed and ratified before taking effect.
