Croatia’s government has approved a draft bill for the ratification of the Croatia-Saudi Arabia Income and Capital Tax Treaty (2024) on 2 May 2025.
The proposed legislation has now been forwarded to the Croatian parliament for further review and approval.
Signed on 4 December 2024, this treaty is the first of its kind between the two nations. The agreement aims to eliminate double taxation between Croatia and Saudi Arabia. The treaty also intends to enhance trade and investment between the two countries.
The agreement will take effect after the exchange of ratification instruments.
