The Ministry of Finance in Manitoba has delivered the province’s budget for the year 2015. The budget does not propose any corporate or individual tax rate changes. The province budget 2015 proposals include:
- The Manitoba’s budget increases the small business tax free threshold from $425,000 to $450,000 and will be effective from 1 January 2016.;
- Increases to several business incentives including the co-op education and apprenticeship tax credit, data processing investment tax credit and provincial film and digital media credits; and
- Sales tax changes and an increment in tobacco tax.
