The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) has announced a mobile application for small- and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) that will let users to make reminders for key tax dates. After consulting with SMEs, the Government has developed the app to reduce red tape, make it convenient for companies to complete their tax obligations. They can make alerts for dates due to installment payments, returns, and remittances and large firms can also apply this at their discretion. But the CRA has cautioned against doing so for companies whose affairs are complicated.
