Bosnia and Herzegovina published Official Gazette No. 8/25, on 5 February 2025, introducing a new regulation to help reduce the impact of rising inflation on citizens. Employers can now provide up to BAM 450 in monthly financial assistance to employees, which is exempt from income tax and social security contributions until 31 July 2025.
Employers must report these payments to the Federal Tax Administration within 7 days of the following month.
The regulation was adopted on 4 February 2024.
