On 5 April 2024, Bolivia’s National Tax Service (SIN) in a notice notified taxpayers of the upcoming deadline for corporate income tax payments and other necessary returns for the fiscal year ending on 31 December 2023. According to the notice the deadline for the payment and filing returns is 29 April 2024. This applies to sole proprietorships, public, private, mixed companies in services, commerce, banking, insurance, and other sectors.

As per the notice, taxpayers of the general regime must submit their corporate tax payments and returns through Form No. 500 for companies required to keep accounting records, Form No. 520 for companies not required to present accounting records; and Form No. 501 for transport companies.

Additionally, taxpayers using Form No. 500 must also submit their financial statements through the Integrated Tax Administration System (SIAT Online), EEFF module, and send it through the  Form No. 605 to avoid fines and sanctions. The notice also details that companies reporting annual sales and/or gross income of BOB 1.2 million or more must provide additional documentation.
