FPS Finance has extended the filing deadline for the Country-by-Country notification (275.CBC.NOT) to ease compliance amid technical issues with the new XML system.
Belgium’s Federal Public Service (FPS) Finance has postponed the filing deadline for the Country-by-Country (CbC) notification (275.CBC.NOT) for financial years closing on 31 December 2025.
Under the extension, taxpayers now have until 28 February 2026 to submit the notification.
FPS Finance said the extension is intended to address technical difficulties encountered during the transition to the new XML tool and to facilitate compliance with the reporting obligations.
This announcement was made on 17 December 2025.
Earlier, Belgium announced the introduction of public Country-by-Country reporting (CbCR) in the Official Gazette on 26 January 2024.
