The tax authorities of Belgium confirm its plan to increase VAT registration threshold from 2015. The companies having taxable supplies above €25,000 will need to be registered for VAT from 2015. Previous limit on the 6% VAT rate for renovation work will also be extended from 6 years to 10 years. The exemption of VAT on plastic surgery will be cancelled and it will be subject to the 21% standard VAT rate.
