The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) reminded large corporate taxpayers on 5 August 2026 to review their reported tax information before the 2024–25 Corporate Tax Transparency Report is published in early October 2026.
The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) reminded large corporate taxpayers on 5 August 2026 to review their corporate tax transparency data before the publication of the 2024–25 Corporate Tax Transparency Report.
For the 2024–25 income year and onwards, the corporate tax transparency population includes any corporate tax entity that has total income equal to or exceeding AUD 100 million, and entities reporting petroleum resource rent tax (PRRT) payable.
The ATO is getting ready to publish the report in early October. This month, the ATO will write to companies with the reported tax information it plans to publish. The ATO will also outline the steps companies can take to correct any errors before the report is published, including the date by which a response is required.
Companies that meet the threshold for inclusion in the 2024–25 report and have not heard from the ATO by early September should email ReportingEntityInfo@ato.gov.au.
